Men for Equality was publicly presented
On Saturday 30 May VXE Group held its public launch activity. This took place in the Auditorium of the School of Cs. Social UBA. 70 people participated. Also took part in the activity members of feminist organizations and other associations involved in the struggle for human rights of women.
The day consisted of a brief presentation VXE Group and its aims, then development activity Film Discussion on "Some representations of gender roles in film fiction." We conclude with a public table entitled "Dialogues for Equity", which involved militants from feminism (different spaces) and members of VXE Group. The activities were developed with active participation and assistance, promote the exchange of ideas and the possibility of expression of each person freely.
We believe that from this type of action is possible to walk into a society that questions the dominant discourse and patriarchy as constitutive. We
also a call from VXE to all men interested in joining this proposal, so that from the place the country in which they are able to promote the Group with the aim of expanding the territorial participation.
The activity of 30 / 5 was the starting point of an armed fervently hope can continue to grow. We will soon be realizing that we promote upcoming activities.
